How Does It Work

Infrared is a safe wavelength of light (or energy) which we feel as heat. Infrared works by heating the body directly, warming us safely to create a cardiovascular workout on the body whilst removing heavy metals and toxins. Infrared is different to steam or hot rocks sauna in that it heats the body at a lower more comfortable temperature.

 

Research shows that infrared sauna use produces a deeper sweat containing 80% water and 20% toxins while a  traditional sauna is 97% water and only 3% toxins.

Sauna

Practice

Infrared saunas play a vital role in any wellness regimen, and for many, its a practice for enhanced health and symptom reduction.

 

We do recommend  3 saunas to kick-start your bodys detoxification process and to absorb the many benefits of infrared therapy.

Consistency is key. Just like exercise, you will feel more benefits the more you sauna; and you will start to get your sweat on sooner, faster and deeper with continued practice.

 

We recommend clients with significant health challenges such as autoimmune disease and mould toxicity, sauna at least 1-3x a week, as advised by their health care professional.

We also recommend being well hydrated with at least 1.5 litres of water prior to your sauna and up to 2 litres during. Bring a bottle and utilise the filtered water we provide. Try adding electrolytes for a quicker nutrient replenishment.
