What is Infrared therapy
Infrared is an invisible wavelength of therapeutic light, experienced as heat, that safely penetrates human tissue to raise core body temperature.
Infrared heat is very gentle and healthy for all living things. Its medical grade quality is used by various physicians, and it is even used to warm babies in the hospital.
Unlike traditional saunas, which solely heat the air around you and operate in excess of 93°C, Infrared heat warms the body within you and is effective at a more comfortable temperature, between 38°C-65°C, producing a deep sweat composed of 20% toxins as opposed to just 3% toxins with a traditional sauna.
Our full-spectrum infrared sauna offers treatments at various levels, known as near, mid and far. All waves are absorbed into the body like sunlight without the harmful UV rays to target different parts of the body to produce specific health benefits.
A guide to your sessions
Infrared saunas play a vital role in any wellness regimen, and for many, its a practice for enhanced health and symptom reduction.
We do recommend 3 saunas to kick-start your body’s detoxification process and to absorb the many benefits of infrared therapy.
Consistency is key. Just like exercise, you will feel more benefits the more you sauna; and you will start to get your sweat on sooner, faster and deeper with continued practice.
We recommend clients with significant health challenges such as autoimmune disease and mould toxicity, sauna at least 1-3x a week, as advised by their health care professional.
We also recommend being well hydrated with at least 1.5 litres of water prior to your sauna and up to 2 litres during. Bring a bottle and utilise the filtered water we provide. Try adding electrolytes for a quicker nutrient replenishment.
Our Sauna also features chromotherapy, or colour therapy, and guests can choose from an array of healing colour ambiance to suit your sauna goals.
