Since opening our doors in Jan 2020 the health & safety of our community has always been our highest priority. Our sanitisation and cleaning standards have never wavered and we will be taking extra precautions during this period. We have reviewed our procedures and introduced another level to our already rigorous practices so you can have peace of mind when visiting our centre.
We take our social responsibility seriously:
If you are feeling unwell, showing any symptoms or are a close contact with anyone tested positive for COVID-19 please cancel your session. Please notify us of your reason for cancellation. During this period the 12 hour cancellation policy does not apply to those who are feeling unwell.
Please allow 30 days to pass following your most recent Covid vaccination, prior to scheduling any session.
Prior to your first visit, all guests will be required to sign our digital New Guest Registration form
(which serves as a legal document) and a Covid questionnaire - which will be kept on file for 28 days.
We kindly ask that you utilise the provided hand sanitiser upon entering the premise.
Some Key Points
Our facility accommodates no more than 5 people at any given time, allowing us to remain attentive to the cleanliness and hygiene of all surfaces and spaces. This also creates an effortless environment to maintain the required social distancing.
WATER SANITATION & FILTRATION
Besides the required pre-float & post float shower, Our Dreampod has a 3-step filtering process that consists of a 10 micron filter that filters out particulate matter to 1/1000 of a hair, ultra-violet (UV) sanitation (When bacteria, viruses and protozoa are exposed to the germicidal wavelengths of UV light, they are rendered incapable of reproducing and infecting.) and a small amount of 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (an oxidiser) – a safe alternative to chlorine and bromine. The saltwater in our Floatpod is filtered a minimum of 4 times between every guest. The pods water is also saturated with 550kg of Epsom salt creating an inhospitable environment for bacteria, viruses / pathogen.
Bacteria and viruses are sensitive to heat and cannot survive in the Infrared Sauna. Regardless, disposable paper will be used to wash and disinfect the interior surfaces of our sauna, doorhandles and all glass after every session. The sauna will be limited to one person per session in the interim. We request that you bring your own water bottle to each session.
FLOAT SUITE REBOOT ROOM & SAUNA STUDIO SANITATION
After each session we use disposable paper, gloves and approved disinfectant to disinfect all commonly touched surfaces such as interior & exterior surfaces of the float pod & Sauna, all hard surfaces, taps, door handles, light switches, iPad, kettle etc. Floors are also mopped after each session.
PUBLIC AREA SANITATION
We’ve doubled down on disinfecting all high contact surfaces including handles, light switches, chairs, cushions, mirrors, floors etc utilising disposable paper, disposable gloves and approved disinfectant.
We provide, freshly laundered towels and floor mats for each guest and service.
When updating our Health and Safety response to COVID-19, we have drawn on the resources of Work Safe Australia and the Department of Health and Human Services Victoria.
